Cornerstone

April 9, 2018 Dala Town

Restoration crews have been chiseling away more than 140 years of plaster and time to reveal the stonework on the oldest standing home in Lindsborg and to write a new chapter for the “scripture house.” Craftsman and historic restoration expert Brian Freeman says the house that stands on the corner of Washington and Grant will soon beckon as a vacation rental destination for visitors to Little Sweden. The uniquely appointed stone house, “Stenhuset,” will be the newest addition to owner and developer Jim Prugh's renovated historic properties in Lindsborg over the past ten years.
