Building Cycling's Future

March 1, 2018 Dala Town

Ivan Cabezas is on a mission to lead the next generation on a path to cycling. The Hutchinson rider organized the 30-mile Swedish Tapas Grinduro that launched from Lindsborg's Riverside Park and meandered around Coronado Heights and back. Along the way, cyclists used the 4-stage race on gravel to train for the upcoming Dirty Kanza in June and work on improving personal goals. Cabezas says linking families together on the bike trail is a natural way to grow the sport. "We want to get those kids involved because that's where the future is going to be so we can continue to have these types of events."
